"Sarah's solo exhibition goes with a real sparkle"
(Review in the West Sussex County Times - Friday 13th July 2007)

For an exhibition that's going with a sparkle, head for The Capitol in Horsham's art centre in North Street.

'Jewellery Box' is a dazzling and exciting display of work designed and created by
Horsham artist Sarah Lea Gallagher.

The collection is inspired by many diverse subjects - from the wonders of nature to the extraordinary world of science fiction.

Sarah uses a range of media in her pieces. Precious metals and Swarovski crystals look
aesthetically pleasing alongside wood, plastics and base metals, each piece being
handmade with an exquisite eye for detail.

Her tiaras have beautiful unique qualities, looking stunning when worn, and her jewellery is designed to act as
miniature pieces of art, wearable for any occasion.

"I'm very excited about this exhibition. It's my first solo one, and I'm delighted that it's being shown here in my home town.

I started my business, 'Sparkleastar', in March 2006, and since then my focus has mainly been
on creating individual bespoke tiaras. This exhibition gives me the opportunity to show
other pieces of wearable design, and let people know what else I am about."

'Jewellery Box', which open on July 4, runs until September 12.

Anyone inspired by the exhibition, wishing to commission a tiara or item of jewellery,
can contact Sarah by email (sarah@sparkleastar.co.uk), or by phoning 01403 269649.
